Vitezović S., Antonović D. (eds). Archaeotechnology: Studying Technology from Prehistory to the Middle Ages
Belgrade: Serbian Archaeological Society, 2014. — 316 pp. — ISBN: 978-86-913229-7-7.
This book is a result of a session organized at the XXXVI Annual meeting of the Serbian Archaeological Society, held in Novi Sad, from 30th May to 1st June 2013. The aim of the session was to promote the technological perspective on different aspects of material culture and to encourage multiple technology studies. Papers include studies on artefacts from stone, bone, clay and metal, but also include more complex technologies, such as constructions of thermic structures, the making of mosaic substructures and water supply systems. Also, studies cover a large time span, from Late Palaeolithic/Mesolithic to the Middle Ages.
